More To Love teaches plus size women how to learn body-acceptance and end dieting for good.

Meet More To Love Ambassador Shenee Howard

Rachel Estapa

I am happy to announce for the first time Spring 2015s More To Love Ambassadors! You will learn about three inspiring women, Britt MeltonShenee Howard & Kristina Blake, each of whom are changing the world through their own committed practice to body acceptance and community building. Each of these women have taken the More To Love Class and are incredible examples of how body love changes lives.

Ive asked them to share with us how the course helped their own relationship with their body and what they are up to next as they help ignite love, confidence, and happiness for women through their work.

I am honored to share with you Shenee Howard, founder of Hey Shenee, a branding business for creative women.

I followed Shenee long before I even created More To Love, so when she registered for the class, I was so excited to have her zest and wisdom be a part of the course. Shenee’s ability to excite and motivate women to be true to themselves and what they put out into the world is inspiring. Business or no business, she leads by example when it comes to being true and being you.

Shenee shares with me some quick thoughts on her More To Love Class experience.

Before More To Love Class, how did you feel about your body?

My body was always something I was firmly against. Something to be tamed or changed so that I could be better and perfect. I can't tell you how many times I would think that Id be perfect if I were smaller.

When you first saw MTLClass, what helped you decide to take it?

You, Rachel! I always loved following you and the work you do to bring women together for the goal of loving our bodies and selves.

What did enjoy most about MTLClass?

Having a fellowship of plus-sized sisters! All of my friends have always been pretty thin, so it was a great experience to work through body-image stuff with other women who knew what I was going through. And the community was really strong, and still is, so it’s special in that way.

How do you feel about your body today? Any changes?

It is still a battle, but now I have tools and can always return to the community for help.

Tell us about your work with Hey Shenee—what do you help women do best?

I help women discover their true brands so they can do the work they really want to do. My biggest current project, which just launched, is the Secret Society of Done. It’s for creative women business owners to make sure their work gets completed with more ease so they can get out there and reach more people.

What would you say to someone who is considering MTLClass but still feels unsure to join?

So folks can follow your work and journey, where can they find you?
